The Cowboys came into a rainy Foxboro and exited quickly as the New England Patriots won 13-9.
The low scoring affair was dry and not filled with much action from the beginning. A few key plays let the Patriots walk away with a victory.
Matthew Slater
Slate added to his resume as possibly the greatest special teams player ever. A blocked punt early in the game set up the Patriots perfectly for the only offensive touchdown of the game.
N'Keal Harry
Harry only recorded one catch, but it was a 10 yard reception which was the first of his career and the differential between the Pats winning or losing.
Julian Edelman
Edelman led the way in receiving again with 8 receptions for 93 yards and came through in the clutch per usual on third downs.
Stephon Gilmore
Gilmore continues to prove he is the best corner in the league with a sick diving interception that allowed the Pats to have great field position and score on the next drive.
The Pats face off against another tough opponent with a primetime Sunday Night matchup versus the Houston Texans.
