Don't get used to the idea of Antonio Brown in New England

Will they make a move for him, or won’t they? As of now, it’s looking more like they can't.

After Pittsburgh Steelers’ wide receiver Antonio Brown said goodbye to his current team and fans in an Instagram post on Tuesday, lots of rumors came up about where the star player could be headed next, and the New England Patriots were on the list, at first.

Brown has not yet been released or dealt to another team, but according to Jason La Canfora of CBS, it won’t be New England, Baltimore, Cleveland or Cincinnati.

The Patriots and the Steelers’ have been considered strong rivals as of late. Take that into consideration along with the 30-year-old’s high price tag and it’s looking more and more like New England is out of the running at the moment.

But with Chris Hogan, Cordarrelle Patterson and Phillip Dorsett all set to hit the open market this offseason, the Patriots will be in need of another wide receiver.
