Kyle Van Noy is one of the most recent players to receive personal digs from 98.5 The Sports Hub radio hosts “Felger and Mazz.”
The New England Patriots linebacker has instead decided to take the high road with a subtle clap back in response to a shot taken at him back in September.
Last month, Felger came out of nowhere and started taking shots at Van Noy, although he says he doesn’t know him.
“I don’t like him,” Felger said. “To me, it’s personal. I’ve never met him, but every time he opens his mouth I’m like, ‘You are a tool! You are an ass.’ Every time I hear him talk I’m like, ‘Where did that attitude come from? You suck. And if it wasn’t for this team, you’d be covering punts in Detroit. You suck! Where do you get that attitude from?’”
Van Noy’s original response was that it’s okay for people to have opinions on his playing abilities, but that he was more hurt by the shots at his character.
“It’s just, people don’t like you and that’s OK,” Van Noy said last month. “I’m OK with that, but since those guys are on a national, or more importantly in the Boston area, you would think they would want to be more appreciative of the guys that play football for the Patriots instead of being negative. I’m going to extend an invitation for them to come to my fundraiser coming up and see what I’m really about.”
And earlier this week, Van Noy hosted that specific charity event. It looks like Felger and Mazz were unable to join, but the linebacker got an extra little jab at them on Twitter.
