Patriots wide receiver Josh Gordon is stepping away from the football field for a bit. Earlier this morning, he released a statement saying he was leaving the Patriots to work on his mental health.

However, Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network is reporting that Gordon may be looking at another indefinite suspension for violating terms of his reinstatement.

This is exactly the risk the Patriots knew they were taking when they acquired Gordon for a fifth-round pick earlier this year. While he has been a productive player for Tom Brady and company, another indefinite suspension has the potential to ruin his career for good.
Hopefully Gordon can get his health in check.
