LAST TIME OUT

The New England Patriots and the Buffalo Bills last met on Christmas Eve of 2017 en route to a 37-16 victory.

Rob Gronkowski got his 12th touchdown catch in 13 career games against his hometown team, who passed on him twice in the 2010 draft. Dion Lewis also had a strong day for the Patriots, scoring both a receiving touchdown and a rushing touchdown, on his way to his second-career 100-yard game (his 129 rushing yards was a career high).

NOTEWORTHY

With this victory, the Patriots set an NFL record of at least 12 wins in eight straight seasons. The team also earned their 25th series sweep after two wins over Buffalo last season.

Quarterback Tom Brady is 28-3 all-time against Buffalo. His 28 wins against the Bills are the most ever by a quarterback against a single team. Let’s hope he can continue this hot streak on Monday Night Football.
